  • Manage the operational activities at a manufacturing site which includes: processing of cost and providing cost accounting information; cost allocation set up, control and maintenance, allocation of (plant) overhead cost to cost objects and internal activity allocation, Setup analytical reporting and controls of the balances and the movements
  • Follow up of CAPEX and OPEX in the different investment activities.
  • Act as first point of contact for the financial responsible in the assigned activities towards the business units (BU controllers and Accounting Managers)
  • month-end closing activities
  • Cooperation with the Business Controller and local Accounting as well as with Shared Service Center
  • Supervise, motivate and coach a team of 3- 4 persons daily and act as backup for the Senior Accounting Manager
  • Identify, design and implement solutions for projects in the area of Record To Report projects
  • You will actively participate to the Digitalization/Automation roadmap and design accordingly processes of the R2R value stream
  • You will ensure the successful implementation of standard global processes, evaluate end-to-end performance and adjust as needed.
  • Design and implement internal controls to ensure a best-in-class organization.
  • Integration and setup of the fixed assets from new companies within the scope of GFS.
  • Being a point of contact for the external auditors on the topics under scope.

  • University degree in economics or equivalent by experience;
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar function or within a big 4.
  • Experience in managing small teams of experts - supportive, cooperative, pro-employee attitude)
  • Experience in a Shared Service or matrix, regional organizations as an asset, or having a strong understanding of the concept.
  • Plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • A clear understanding and vision on digitalization and automation within Finance.
  • Experience with the new technologies and a strong knowledge of ERP Tools (SAP as an asset);
  • Project management skills and the ability to organize cross-functional teams at multiple locations.
