  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local and international accounting standards;
  • Developing and managing the country's budget, including forecasting revenues and expenses, analyzing financial trends, and advising on financial planning and cost management;
  • Providing strategic financial analysis to support decision-making; analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and advise senior management on financial matters such as investments, pricing strategies, and cost reduction measures;
  • Participating in strategic planning at the country level as well as ensuring the finance function supports the company's long-term strategic goals;
  • Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard the company's assets;
  • Leading and developing the local finance team. This includes hiring, training, and mentoring finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring that the team has the skills and resources needed to support the company's objectives;
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure financial processes align with the overall business operations;
  • Being a Business Partner to the Board and management, being able to indicate & evaluate risks and opportunities.
International manufacturing company with production sites located in Poland|Responsibility for controlling (full P&L) and team management
  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related;
  • ACCA/CIMA qualification would be an asset;
  • At least 8 years' experience in finance in international company from manufacturing sector (must have), including at least 3 years' experience on similar position;
  • Accounting background, gained in e.g. Big4, knowledge and understanding of accounting principles;
  • Solid experience in controlling, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting and analysis;
  • Experience in team management is a must; ability to build and lead a motivated and collaborative finance team;
  • Fluency in English (min. C1 level, both oral and writing communication);
  • Proficiency in financial software and controlling tools, such as MS Office, SAP, Power BI;
  • Proven ability to be a valued and trusted business partner to the MD and functional leaders;
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness of financial performance issues;
  • Ability to identify issues and develop pragmatic solutions; present such solutions in a clear, concise, robust yet diplomatic manner;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver output, flexibly and in a pressurised environment;
  • Highly influential with strong persuasive skills;
  • An astute business partner with strong consultancy and communication skills together with experience of providing finance support for business development.
