Simulation Software Engineer

Tasks: Development, implementation, maintenance and support of Functional Software in Loop (FSIL) platform solutions for internal customers. Software framework verification and validation with focus on environment development for Brake Systems products like (ABS, ESP etc.) with C/C++ programing. Testing of the product’s software by cloud based (Linux/K8S) automated framework platform and open-source platforms. Problem solving in area in area of software, its algorithms, logic and architecture. Experience and Knowledge: Experience in software development with make / cmake / Linux-shell scripts. Experience with Cloud, including automation on common platforms (AZURE). Experience with Simulation tools: Matlab&Simulink / Modelica / Python / Julia. Experience in test driven development. Programming skills in C/C++. Programming skills in Python incl. maintaining Python-packages. Master degree in technical computer science or comparable. Personality and Working Practice : Task ownership and result orientation. Well-developed ability to think analytically and effectively present your own ideas and analyses. Communication skills and the ability to efficiently organize and conduct working meetings. Enthusiasm for technical cooperation in an international team. Willingness to face the new requirements and explore possibilities. Interest in the implementation of complex topics relating to software build and tooling. Motivation to learn and invent business viable ideas.
