Ardagh Metal Packaging is looking for Supply Planning Manager  Position overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Planning Manager to lead our dynamic team in successfully executing the monthly planning process, with a specific focus on mid-term plans and long-term horizons. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving constructive discussions with manufacturing teams, managing stakeholders in the mid-term planning process, and proactively ensuring collaboration between short-term and mid-term planning for flawless execution. This role demands a strategic thinker who can set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor the entire monthly planning cycle while fostering cross-functional teamwork. Key Responsibilities:Mid-Term Planning Leadership:   Lead the coordination of the team to successfully complete the monthly planning process, emphasizing mid-term plans (MTP) and long-term horizons.   Drive constructive discussions with manufacturing teams to obtain essential inputs for the planning process.Stakeholder Management:   Manage other stakeholders involved in the mid-term planning process, ensuring smooth collaboration and addressing any challenges that may arise.   Collaborate within the team and with other departments to ensure all aspects of the planning cycle are actioned within the cross-functional team.Execution and Monitoring:   Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor the monthly cycle to ensure timely and accurate planning inputs for the MTP planning process.   Actively participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, taking responsibility for signing off on the supply plan.Performance Accountability:   Manage mid-term deliverables, ensuring a cost and service balanced 18-month supply plan.   Be accountable for service, inventory, and cost-to-serve metrics, actively monitoring and addressing any outperformance.   Drive continuous improvement within the monthly planning process and actively participate in improvement projects related to MTP processes and tools.Process Improvement and Standardization:   Focus on process improvement and standardization in the planning process.   Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall effectiveness in the supply planning process.   Work closely with relevant teams to implement standardized processes and best practices.Team Development and Succession:   Develop and manage the team, focusing on skill enhancement and succession planning.   Act as a mentor to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Reporting and Organization Structure:   Report directly to the Supply Planning Director, providing regular updates on key performance indicators, challenges, and strategic initiatives. Have exposure to senior management team.   Be an integral part of the central planning organization, contributing to the overall planning strategy and collaborating with other planning teams.Overall Accountability:   Act as a backup for the Director of Supply.   Participate in relevant company projects and initiatives.   Generate long-term plans within the mid-term planning process. Qualifications and Experience:10+ Year Relevant experience in supply planning ideally in FMFG with proven experience in network planning, mid-term and long-term planning.Bachelor's or Master’s in Supply Chain Management or Business administration.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Familiarity with S&OP processes and tools. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain planning and a proven track record of driving successful mid-term and long-term planning processes, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
