For our Finance Department, we are currently looking for a GL Accountant. As a GL Accountant will perform assigned GL accounting tasks in line with internal and external deadlines and regulations, provide accounting support to finance team as well as requested reports and data. ​This role you will be based in Katowice. Responsibilities: Invoice verification and posting in ERP system​ Performing GL accounting tasks . fixed assets inventory, VAT, tax process support​ Accounts reconcilliation and bank statements reconcilliation​ Preparing data for bank transfers​ Completing month and year-end closing activities in timely and accurate manner​ Providing information for financial reports and other analyses and financial data, as requested​ Ensure adherence to Local accounting regulations Group policies​ Support in reviewing and adjusting procedures​ Sharing knowledge with team members . supporting onboarding of new members of GL/finance team ​ We are looking for you to have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field (Finance & Accounting)​ Very good knowledge of English​ Good understanding of GL processes and IFRS standards​ Minimum 2 years of experience in GL ​ Must have a strong customer focus (for internal stakeholders and external customers)​ Analytical skills/attention to details​ Team skills​ Excellent computer skills incl.
