Assistant Vice President - Risk Reporting Miejsce pracy: Kraków Your responsibilities Participate in the Integrity of Regulatory Reporting Programme (IRR) to ensure that Regulatory Reporting across HSBC Group is accurate, timely and complete. Delivery BAU risk reporting and data analysis to regions and group including control monitoring and review. Plan and execute interaction with all the involved parties: Regulatory, Group, Region, local sites, Finance etc. Improve key controls by defining consistent standards that ensure a continuous monitoring of the team deliverables. Support standard processes and reports and accelerate the analysis process using ‘out of the box’ ideas. Understand Regulatory / Senior Management reporting and analysis requirements. Identify and define new process improvement opportunities. Identify valuable data sources, automate collection processes, and analyse trends in complex data sets. Our requirements University degree and/or postgraduate qualification with relevant finance/quantitative/risk content. Strong experience in banking and Wholesale Credit Risk Management or Finance or Regulatory Reporting. Previous exposure to large projects involving technical IT considerations. Technical knowledge with any of these: SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau, BI Tools, Qlik Sense, Alteryx, VBA etc. Understanding of banking book financial products, credit risk, macro-economics, econometrics, and financial markets. Excellent communication skills with technical (the team) and non-technical (senior entity management around the globe) counterparts; being able to "translate" between the two worlds. Ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear manner. Self-starter, who can think proactively. Demonstrate the ability to learn abstract concepts and to operate effectively against uncertainty and on unfamiliar ground. Ability to make decisions quickly. Ability to prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines when required. About the role Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting team within Data and Analytics Office in GSC Krakow measures and monitors HBCE credit risks arising from lending and trading activities as well as providing risk reports, analysis for credit risk management (for non-retail banking). The team is engaged in European regulatory reporting (e.g. AnaCredit) and senior management reporting and analysis deliverables that are spread across EU countries on a need basis.
