As Application Developer Specialist - frontend , this role will work in the Global Custom Software Solutions team, building PPG’s backbone for Digital Commerce. This solution will integrate information from various other internal systems to allow our global partners to purchase and receive our products. To successfully perform this role, the applicant must be able to fully comprehend and implement functional and non-functional requirements, have a strong understanding of .NET framework, solid experience modeling databases, and familiarity with software engineering principles. Main Responsibilities: Analyzing detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for PPG’s eCommerce Digital platform Do application developments as scrum team member and fulfill the Functional requirements in high quality standards. Supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements. Adoption of tools identified (Azure DevOps, Re-Sharper, BrowserStack, SonarQube, Checkmarx) Providing Oncall support Provide technical advice, code reviews and assistance to other programmers. Work together with other technical teams (Solution Architecture, DevOps, Security) throughout the development process. Solid understanding of functional integration points, entity relationships and module flows. Devise sample input data to test accuracy of program. Resolve questions of program intent, input data acquisition, time sharing, output requirements, coding use and modification, and inclusion of internal checks/code reviews for system integrity. Observe or runs test of program using sample or actual data, assist in user acceptance training. • Participate in the roll out and on time delivery of developed applications. Maintain a working knowledge of advancing technologies. Identify applicable solutions and implement with existing networks when appropriate. Learn new programming technologies, methodologies aligned with the defined standards and baselines Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy Requirements: 7 years of experience in frontend, designing and developing web applications Building and delivering highly scalable and maintainable web applications using the Angular platform Advanced skills in Angular 9, TypeScript, RxJS, Apollo Angular, Angular Material, Git, SOLID, Design patterns, Architectural patterns Basic skills in C#, ASP.net, .Net Core, Entity Framework, SASS, GraphQL, Hot Chocolate, Mass Transit, Commerce Tools, Algolia, OAuth 2 Experience in Cloud platforms (especially Azure) Familiar with DevOps process, Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, MACH Composer Ability to lead and effectively participate in teams Ability to effectively present information in one-in-one and small group situations to Product Owners and other members of the organization Upper-intermediate English.
