Basic FunctionIn your role as Controller you will be providing value added financial support and advise to the centrally in Wesseling based MC&A team through timely, high quality and leveraging information & insight on manufacturing cost performance to aid in the decision making and optimization of financial results.You will be supporting the fixed & variable cost accounting, analysis, reporting and internal control activities for all aspects of the entire site operations, coordinating the annual budget exercise and monthly forecast updates in order to closely monitor, project and manage manufacturing cost performance. The Controller will support process improvement teams, drive continuous improvements in our processes and support desk top procedures process as required. Incumbent is expected to have a “hands-on” attitude, is result oriented and has strong interpersonal and communication skills.Roles & Responsibilities The Controller supports as competent partner the local MC&A team in Wesseling which is the financial dialogue partner for the Site Manager, Site Management and functional, operational and business unit leadership. Key activities include monthly performance reporting on variable and fixed costs that satisfies all stakeholder’s requirements for timely, focused, decision oriented performance reporting. Support in coordination and management of the annual budget process with regards to costs, capacity, investments etc. Support of monthly forecast preparation (Fixed and variable costs). Support of internal and cross-departmental process improvements. Participation in special projects. Min. Qualifications Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Accounting and/or Controlling. Proactivity and flexibility with a strong drive and a can do attitude. Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (Microsoft Office, SAP). Excellent planning and analytical skills, ability to transform data into actionable information. Excellent communication skills. Minimum Bachelor degree in Economics. Proficiency in English and in German will be an asset.
