Role purpose:The Associate GPO (Global Process Owner) will support the Global Process Owner functions within the GBS (Global Business Services) organization and across ECCO. The GPOs are accountable for maintaining a robust and scalable Process Design that satisfies the business's requirements and supports the ECCO Finance vision and objectives. The Associate role will be to support the GPO function as follows: Document Best Practice Process as agreed with the GPO Support GPO with Change Management activities such as organizing training sessions with SME’s Follow up on IT initiatives in line with GPO team planning Provide feedback to GPOs in case a process is identified that is not included in the current process landscape Support the global GBS community to ensure knowledge sharing and global alignment as directed by GPO Support in projects delivery and be member of the project team in agreement with the GPO team planning Manage stakeholder communication as determined in the communication plan Prioritizing workload to ensure targets and expectations are aligned with the GPO priorities Responsibilities Standardisation and Continuous Improvement of Processes Support the definition of standardization objectives and the ambition level for ECCO Support the deployment of standardized best practice processes across ECCO Support the GPO’s periodical review of the processes, SOPs, and user guides, together with the Tower Managers Support to achieve short-term goals, so early results are visible in-line with the GPO’s plan Have a positive influence on the culture within the GBS organization by working closely with the Tower Managers to implement and develop a positive professional behaviour within the organization Travel to the GBS hubs is required Process Governance Maintain the ECCO process landscape in a process catalogue Deploy the new governance form that reflects new process orientation for processes Be able to examine the gap between what the GBS organization delivers and what internal customers demand All processes must be signed off by responsible GPO Transition Support Support GPO to manage the transition of tasks into GBS Align with the GPOs the transition plan and ensure tasks delegated to this role are executed Manage weekly check-in meetings as agreed with the GPOs Travel to transition locations as required Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in finance and/or Accounting 3+ years of work experience within the finance area Experience working in multinational organizations IT/Digital/Technology capabilities and insight Good understanding of finance and accounting processes Experience in accounting principles and accounting theory Experience and good knowledge in lean and standardization will be an asset Proficiency in the use of MS Office: Visio, Excel, and Word Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within ECCO Analytical thinking and collaboration skills Thrive in a role with a variety of tasks/priorities Ability to influence the world around you to achieve your vision Provide training to interns/analysts in the organization Ability to motivate and resolve problems within the organization Independent, proactive, and global mindset Strong cultural awareness Fluent in English (both verbal and written) Imagining yourself at ECCO?
