And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionGR/IR and A/P Debit Balance ControllerThe GR/IR and A/P Debit Balance Controller is in charge of the team of analysts responsible for the Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) clearing account and settlement of the Accounts Payable (A/P) Debit Balances to ensure effective performance, continuous improvement, adherence to policies and procedures, and management of risks .Key Responsibilities:Oversee the reconciliation and management of GR/IR clearing account, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and account balances are accurately reported in accordance with GAAP and Company policy.Oversee the timely settlement of A/P Debit Balances and maintaining the integrity of financial records related to A/P.Help unpack and solve complex issues and root causes.Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely clearing of open items and final clearing of purchase document items.Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report findings to senior management.Identify and communicate improvement opportunities.Escalate recurring issues, trends and behaviors that negatively impact GR/IR reconciliation and A/P Debit Balances.Train and mentor team members on related processes and SAP system functionalities.Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.Requirements:Fluent command of English both in reading and speaking.University degree - in Finance, Accounting or similar.Solid GR/IR and A/P Debit Balance understanding and experience (at least 3 years of experience).Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills; ability to tackle complex issues independently.Good collaboration with other teams across a wide range of areas throughout the organization.Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills (at least 1 year of experience).You will hybrid work in Katowice, Poland.#LI-JS1#LI-Hybrid
