Our publishing is supported by a wealth of educational services, which underpin our commitment to deliver the most effective and appropriate educational resources for students and Teachers. Located in the Macmillan Education office in Warsaw (and part of the Global Digital Systems and Operations department based in London), reporting to the Digital Team Lead, the Digital Producer is responsible for the successful delivery of digital content sets from initial scoping and scheduling, through content configuration and production to platform delivery, within the agreed budget, quality standards and process workflows. Role Responsibilities: Working collaboratively with publishing, editorial and technical teams to deliver digital content into multiple platforms for validation and release to end-users. Managing multiple content items across various environments and systems, via detailed scheduling and dependency planning of digital components production. Creating and identifying project milestones, and technical or content production risks, and clarify deliverables to ensure that scheduling, progress, and planning are clearly visible to colleagues. Troubleshooting by liaising with technical/dev teams regarding digital production issues, which might include platform feature development, pre-flight and acceptance testing, applications update versions and content deployment to platforms. Liaising and managing problems resolution with third party platform developers / providers, usually at the discretion of the Digital Operations management team. Thinking creatively, to be solutions focused, proactive about the production processes, and propose improvements and enhancements. Representing digital operations best practice workflows and processes at project update meetings and advising as appropriate on workflow and best practice. Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, utilising a variety of project management tools and systems including Jira and Smartsheet, managing digital production workflow of tickets and ensure it is kept in line with department standards. Experience, Skills & Qualifications: Organized, flexible, adaptable, personable and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a background in digital delivery, and preferably publishing. Flexible and proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing environments. Able to learn complex systems and get to grips with technical information and procedures quickly. The ideal person will enjoy solving problems and planning projects meticulously. An ability to work openly and effectively with technical and publishing teams within an agile environment and a willingness to take on responsibilities and deliver on time and in full are essential.
